new Calla headdresses, Elvehjem Star gets a makeover
Calla is celebrating their 1 year anniversary! Congratulations Tigerlily and Haedon. These two are some of the sweetest ladies I've been fortunate enough to meet in SL, and it's been a priveledge to know them. Here's to many more years of Calla success! I'm having such a ball making these prim bomb headdresses. I think you ladies are going to be seeing a lot more of these in the future.

I've made a new version of the Elvehjem Star tiara. It's a bit more simplified for those not quite so over the top occaisions. I put in a color change script with ten gemstone options, and of course that prompted me to go ahead and redo the jewelry and the hair pins and everything else with the new textures and color change script. I redid the necklace completely - making an actual nano prim chain this time. Each piece of jewelry has been modified and upgraded and I'm much happier with this set now! The original version of the tiara will get the color change script this weekend before I take off on vacation.

There's also a men's crown I made at the request of *many* customers. I made this one transferable because I know how much men love to NOT go shopping. I'm not able to upload the picture in for some odd reason..... more on that in a minute.....
In store news, I've hired some help! I'm completely overwhelmed with all the "other" stuff an SL designer does besides design and I can't take it anymore!!!!! Of course my wonderful friends Docsisle Magellan, Tea Panhandle, Aabbi Rhode, Zephyr McKenna and Boolani Lane are still helping me with all kinds of things around Ohana Isle at the same time as running their own shops, I'd seriously be nothing without these ladies. I've hired Zephyr McKenna to log in to my alt account, Sherri Coakes, and manage my remote location shops. She's already been working very hard and doing a fantastic job. I've also hired the great Phoenix Chapman to help me with PR. I knew who she was but I hadn't ever talked to her before. Then she wrote a really nice review of my product, and when I thanked her for her kind words we just hit it right off. It's fate!! First order of business was to move the blog. The website I have been using, blog.com, is a major pain to use and stuff doesn't always work. All the old posts have moved to the new blog, and from now on new posts will appear there only. I'm still working on new images and everything for it (the header namely) and I'll be posting the link to get you there as soon as it's fully up and running. Phoenix will be doing my fashcon notices, blogging, helping me with my advertising and much more.
